The 2025 edition of the RankingsLatAm market research provides a detailed overview of the insurance distribution landscape in Peru, based on the financial performance of over 360 brokers and insurance agents operating in the country between 2011 and 2024. The latest data, updated through December 2024, reveals moderate but steady growth across key financial indicators, highlighting the continued relevance of brokers within Peru’s insurance market.

In 2024, total assets among the firms analyzed reached 919 million soles, reflecting a 9.3% increase over the previous year. Capital grew by 3.1%, totaling 610 million soles, while labor costs rose by 8.3%, amounting to 440 million soles. Billing across all brokers reached 1,058 million soles, marking a 7.9% annual increase. On the liabilities side, total debt rose sharply by 24.0% to 309 million soles, indicating a more aggressive financial strategy or increased operational scaling among some players.

In terms of market share gains, the most dynamic broker in 2024 was Arthur J. Gallagher Peru Corredores de Seguros S.A., which gained 1.1 percentage points compared to 2023. Howden Peru Corredores de Seguros S.A. followed with a 0.9-point increase, while Lockton Peru Corredores de Seguros S.A.C. added 0.6 points. Two local players, Consorcio JP & Asociados Asesores y Corredores de Seguros S.A.C. and Mas Soluciones Corredores de Seguros S.A.C., each gained 0.3 percentage points.
Despite some movements in market share, the leading brokers by billing volume remain largely unchanged. Marsh Peru S.A.C. Corredores de Seguros continues to dominate the market, followed by Howden Peru, Arthur J. Gallagher Peru, Corredores de Seguros Falabella S.A.C., and Consejeros y Corredores de Seguros S.A. Together, these five firms accounted for 47.53% of the total billing among more than 300 brokers, confirming the market’s high concentration in top-tier players.
When ranking by net income, Marsh Peru S.A.C. also leads with a net result of 47 million soles. Corredores de Seguros Falabella S.A.C. and Howden Peru both reported net profits of 13.5 million soles, followed by Consejeros y Corredores de Seguros S.A. with 9.5 million and Sifuentes Olaechea Corredores de Seguros S.A.C. with 6.8 million soles.
These results underscore the strong position of international brokers in Peru, while also highlighting opportunities for local firms showing upward trends in market share. The evolution of billing, profitability, and financial structure in 2024 reaffirms the broker channel’s strategic importance within the broader insurance market.
